Have you heard about the Digital Switchover Help Scheme?
The Help Scheme can arrange for an approved installer to supply and install everything you need to switch one TV to digital.
The Switchover starts in the Central region on 17th August and ends on 21st September, depending on your transmitter. If you have not switched your television by this time you will not receive any TV channels!
Individuals qualify for the scheme if they:
- are aged 75 or over; or
- have lived in a care home for 6 months or more; or
- get (or could get) Disability Living Allowance (DLA), Attendance Allowance, Constant Attendance Allowance or mobility supplement; or
- are registered blind or partially sighted
If you or anyone you know falls into any of these categories they will qualify for help under the scheme.
