A very successful produce show was held at Shearsby Village Hall on September the 10th, after a difficult growing season the array of fruit and vegtables was quite astounding.The cookery section looked fantastic and it was difficult to fit  all the cakes and breads on the available tables.
The judges were astonished that the villages had managed to produce such a show with a quality and quantity of produce that today they say is rare. Next year the show will be in Arnesby village hall so please mark the first weekend in September in your diaries and lets hope to put on another show  that will again astound the judges.

Handicrafts - Cathrine Hryniszak - A picture in any medium
Children's prizes went to Maisie Smith, Maria Blaine, Willow Walker, Harry McLeod, Stella Hubbard and Mathew Tozer
