Minutes of a meeting of the Parish Council held at 7:30pm on Monday, 14th June 2004 at the Conference Centre, Arnesby |
(1) Present Messrs. Stuart Hurst, David Johnson, Robert Jones(Chairman). & M. N. Bown (Clerk) 3 parishioners were present. (2) Apologies:- Apologies received from Mrs J Lees and County Councillor Mr David Jennings. (3) Minutes of Meeting Held on 25th May 2004:- These had been circulated and were read and signed by the Chairman. (4) Matters Arising:- (a)The Paddock;- no further information. C C Jennings has reported that there is no land available in the area owned by C.C. (b) The footpath from Lutterworth road to Robert Hall Road had been cut but there are still overhanging branches, clerk to investigate. (c) The Council have not yet been told who to contact, (d) The proposal to upgrade footpath Y5 to a Bridleway had been rejected by C.C. A letter of appreciation of support had been received from the farmer Mr Baker. (e) Graham Mawby had agreed to be Tree Warden. (f) The Chairman and David Johnson had inspected the Bus Shelter and agreed it needed attention, clerk to obtain quotations for the work. (5) Approving Accounts and Audit papers for 2003/4 :- The accounts were inspected and the completed papers were signed by the Chairman. (6) Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000:- The Countryside Agency had sent a map showing that there is no Registered common land or Open country, as referred to in the Act, in Amesby Parish area. The Act should be affective in our area Oct 2005, but there is no affected land. (7) Signing Cheques:- No 348 ABB Utilities Ltd. £46.00. Meeting Closed at 7.50 pm. |
