(3) Minutes of Meeting Held on 21st August 2007 :-.
These had been circulated and were read and signed by the Chairman.
(4) Matters Arising:-
(a) David Johnson reported that no communication had been received re.
Enforcement matters and he would persevere,
(b) Repairs had not been carried out on Bus Shelter clerk to ring John
McGuinnis.
(c) Model Code of Conduct, after discussion it was decided to adopt
paragraph 12(2) of the Code where a Councillor with prejudicial interest
may address the meeting and answer questions before leaving the meeting.
(5) The clerk reported that the accounts oft 2006/7 had been finalised
and audited.
It was agreed to ask for a Precept of £2650 as in past years.
(7) The service engineers for the Church clock had reported essential
repairs costing
£2115. It was decided to wait for a report from the Church Warden,
the repairs could
be done by a church member for a smaller sum.

(a) Council asked to write objecting against closure of Village Post
office
(b) Letter received asking if street lights could be switched off to
save electricity, reduce light pollution and save money. Clerk to investigate.
(c) Complaints were made about number of windows in house adjacent to
The Baptist Chapel. There were 5 instead of the planned 4. Clerk to
write to HDC.
(d) Complaint made re. condition of noticeboard in Mill Hill road clerk
to see if local man can make a new one.
