NOTICE OF PARISH COUNCIL MEETING
A Meeting of the Parish Meeting was held at
The Village Hall, Arnesby
on Tuesday 19th January 2010 at 8:40pm

    1. Present - Messrs. Robert Jones (Chairman), Graham Middleton, Mrs Jenny Lees (Vice chairman). & M. N. Bown (Clerk)
    Thirteen parishioners were present.

    2. Apologies
    Apologies received from Councillors David Johnson and Stuart Hurst.

    3. Minutes of Meeting Held on 3rd. November 2009 :-
    These had been circulated and were taken as read and signed by the Chairman.

    4. Matters Arising
    (a) Matter of parking at Manor Farm to left to May Fayre Committee.
    (b) No news of ownership re land near 'Southview'.

    5. Planning Applications
    (a) No. 09/01373/FUL Submitted by Mr Simon Gatward 'Andulusian Stud', Lutterworth Road, Arnesby. 'Change of use of barn to Agriculture and Residential to allow use of Caravan. OBJECTIONS.
    (b) No 09/01354/FUL Submitted by:- Mr Robert Collinson, Corner Cottage, Mill Hill Road, Arnesby. 'Extension and Re roofing Conservatory to form Garden Room. OBJECTION.
    (c) 09/01513/TCA. Submitted by :- Mr Tony Lees, Arnesby House, St. Peter's Road, Arnesby. 'Work to Trees' No OBJECTIONS,
    (d) 09/01537/CON, 09/01534/FUL. Submitted by: Miss Rachel Sawyer, East View Cottage, Mill Hill Road, Arnesby. 'Demolition of single storey rear extension and erection of Two storey rear extension' Revised scheme of 09/00828/FUL. No OBJECTIONS,
    (e) 09/0154/FUL Submitted by D & J Mobile Catering Ltd. Land at Gallop Farm, Welford Road, Arnesby. 'Erection of replacement barn for storage 'No OBJECTIONS.

    6. Accidents on Main Road
    Meeting held prior to council meeting with favourable results.

    7. Severn Trent Water Pressure:-
    Water at 2.5 Bars only obliged to provide IBar.

    8. Grit Boxes
    Agreed to provide 2. Mrs Lees to apply to May Fayre' for possible funding of £200 + each.

    9. Damaged Bollard:- Decided not to Replace.

    10. Give way sign:- Decided against.

    11. Signing Of Cheques
    No 461 E-On Ltd. Street Maintenance £62.82.
    No462 E-On Ltd Street Lighting £165.25.
    No463 Village Hall rent £10.00.
    No 464 M N Bown InkJet cartridges. £19.98.

    12. Precept 2010/11 Agreed at £3000.00

    13. To Receive questions from the Floor
    (a) Parishioners complained of parking on Lutterworth Road by School Staff
    and parents. Clerk to write to Deputy Headmistress.
