The 30th annual Arnesby May Fayre provided another fun and value for money day out for the whole family. Around 4,000 visitors enjoyed the live music, food and drink and the various entertainments provided around the village.
The 10th 5 mile Cross country race attracted a good field: 48 adults and 20 juniors and two new course records were created.
Winners:
Men: For the second year in a row, Stacey Voss (Fleckney & Kibworth) 28:46
Ladies: Also for the second year, Sam Winters (now Fleckney & Kibworth) in 32:37, a 23 second improvement over the record time that she set last year.
Juniors: Jack Williams (aged 14) in a new course record 14:27
