Village Hall Fundraising Events 2024

The Village Hall Trustees have identified several improvements for the Village Hall and are in the process of arranging events for 2024 to ensure that there is adequate funding. Details of these events will appear here, as they are arranged.

25 March. We have been awarded grants to complete one of the largest of the improvement projects - to install solar panels on the village hall roof. Read more »

Previous Draws

May 19th Sponsored Walk and Curry Social.

There will be 2 routes - a longer walk around Shearsby, Bruntingthorpe and Peatling Magna, and a shorter walk to Shearsby.
Starting late morning at Long Acre. Details are being firmed up by a project group

Later the same day we will have a curry social at the village hall, with catering by Maryam. You won't need to pre-order a delicious home-cooked curry, you could just pop in for a samosa and a beer (yes, we have a licence to sell alcohol) after your walk.
